Have you seen Michael’s beret? (21/3)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ive seen Michael many times at matches and on the telly. He goes everywhere and is a die hard Arsenal. But Ive never seen him without his hat so come on people jokes a joke. If you know the whereabouts of it or a mate is bragging he took it for a laugh then lets get it back to the gooner

My guess it was one of the stupid crowd of hoody kids who went to the game and didnt even want to watch football - just run around the Emirates Stadium for a couple of hours.

Please Arsenal - dont give those tickets away at local schools again. It wasnt a like being at a football match, more like a school disco.

This person is typical of the attention seeking morons who have infested our club over the last 10 years.

The only follow the club to get their faces on the box

Shame they didnt nick his season ticket ¬!

I ues to sit near that lady sometimes. She was on London Tonight I think.
She used to sit in the East stand Upper near the Clockend.

She is a legend! At one game this guy told her to shut up after she had said, 'come on you gunners'. She shouted back, 'shut up the perosn who told me to shut up'!

Quality!!!

No you are right but I bet you this pilchard has not been going home and away for more than 7/8 years.

I on the other hand can remember doing west ham @ wembley Valencia@heysel,wolves@molynspew and boro @ ayersome in the space of 8 days !

sorry to say it but we now have the largest gimp, geek and former trainspotters in the entire premier league !

Embarrassing to say the least !

Just 'cos some people haven't been home and away as often as you doesn't mean they are any less of a fan. I've only been going regularly for about 5 years but am still aas much of a fan as anyone. It never used to be easy getting hold of tickets but I had a stroke of luck and am now a regular at the Grove attending as many away games as finances permit. Likely there are lots of people in the situation I was a few years back but they are still fans.
Hope that didn't sound too agressive.

I am not an Arsenal fan . . . . . I AM ARSENAL. . . . . .

No problem with you fella but this Beret burke is typical of Arsenal Nouveau, people who know nothing about us,our history or what it is like to "be Arsenal" . People who make fools of themselves and therefore us by playing up for the sky tv cameras.

If Michael is the same guy I think he is I have seen him at many Arsenal games always giving his full backing to the team. I saw him at PSV away so I don't think we should question loyalty just because he chooses to wear a beret.

what this has to do with him having his beret nicked I don't know.

you could have just said "dunno what happened to it." or even better, not posted.

Just saying.

for the record I don't know what happened to it. I just hope at future Youth Cup matches there's a higher steward turnout so we can stop that twunts without membership cards who are kept away from normal matches in check.

All I can say 's "bloody kids!!!".

Running everywhere...it was like, where are you running to? There were groups of 20 strong hoody kids all shouting "brap brap" (lol) and not wanting to watch the game but walk around the Emirates over and over. There were 14 year old girls with their hair gelled down to their scalp and wearing lots of makeup (like the Katherine Tate Show) tryin to attract these boys. These kids had NO INTENTION of watching the match - they were there just for a laugh and through the hype of it. OK, there was id say 40% of people there to watch there game, but the other 60% were these hoody morons lol.

At the end of the game, about 10 of them decided to run onto the pitch with their hoods on, only to realise that there was nowhere to run away to - then they also decided to throw plastic bottles at the stewards after the final whistle when leaving, that was after they had thrown some at the few Man Utd fans in the ground. They also spotted some Man Utd singing fans and decided to do the gun gesture thing towards them lol. What else? Oh yeah, many decided they didnt like sitting in the corner of the ground which is usually the away section, so they just climbed over the segregation barrier instead of walking around like normol people lol.

I know there was 38,000 people there but it was a bit of a joke still. You could not sit down and watch a game of football properly because there was a multitude of little shitheads (lol) who'd never been to a football match before treating it as if it was like hanging around Wood Green shopping centre of something lol.
