Team for Wigan???

I REALLY THOUGHT CHIPPY'S EXPLAINATION ON AN EARLIER THREAD:

There has been much speculation on various threads of this forum as to why I Hate Hleb refuses to change his name now that Alex is making a claim for player of the season. The most popular new theory, which seems to be supported by IHH himself is that the name is now deeply ironic in a post modernist, Tracy Emin, Damien Hirst way, allowing us to see the angst as the team he loves makes the transition from delicate neophytes to the dogs bollocks. Maintaining the name seems to say "i knew this Epiphany would take place."

HAD CLEARED THINGS UP FOR PEOPLE. BUT APPARENTLY IT HAS NOT! :roll: :wink:

CAN I ALSO SAY THAT THE NEW GOONER (ISSUE NO. 180) HAS ATTRIBUTED ONE OF MY SONG IDEAS, 'I'M A BELIEVER' - IN PRAISE OF HLEB, NO LESS - TO ALL ARSENAL 1886!!

Does anybody else ever check the team news on the BBC? They have a squad of 18 which includes Mark Randall. The fact the Randall has not even appeared in the Carling Cup would indicate that he is not even close to the team. It has struck me that whenever we have a few injuries the bloke who writes this crap thinks of every Arsenal player he can and puts them down as being in the squad. The only time to believe Arsenal team news is when it's announced in the stadium.

But back to the thread. The only option I haven't seen mentioned is Theo and Dudu up front. We never score from corners or set pieces anyway......

Smoothies law does not extend to former players! If you read sub section 2.6 of my laws, It says slating of a former player is ok.
