I have been posting on here for only about 18 months, but in that short time I think the place has lost a lot of it's appeal. I rarely find a thread on Arsenal or football that I can be bothered getting involved in.
I find myself spending more and more time rummaging around in the basement, replying to non-football related threads.
I think a lot of it is down to the recent influx, who seem to post for the sake of it and often on a topic that is already being discussed. And when their opinion is challenged they revert to childish insults.
I for one hope that the summer break will see most of them disappear, if not I fear I can't see myself spending much time on here next season. (hurrah I hear you say )
Anyway Does anyone else feel the same?
Yes, agree with that Sid, hopefully the summer will 'kill' these arseholes off, but you would do well just to give it a break from time to time, that's what I do (apart from when I'm at work, I keep getting lured back to the site, even though I should be doing stuff here)
Also, with the new forum on it's way (when ) this will also weedle out or stop these *word censored* from coming on here.
I agree Sid with everything you wrote. I rarely ever come on here when im at home anymore it just passes the time while im working.
Just wish people would stop biting when trolls post without the attention they wouldnt come back just ignore them or take the piss, stop taking them so serious....
Must admit been despondent with things happening on the forum lately.Last few months we seen other team fans coming on here starting topic's for a wind up,alter-ego's doing the same and JCL's getting insulting when criticizing there idol wenger.
What i do is read what's going on and might post if I'm going to get a decent reply or argument instead of the petty insults and ''fuck off and follow the chav's'' answer.
i agree about WUMs being a lot here lately, but some of the guys who come here to defend wenger only do that because it's their own views. i think we should respect that as long as those views are being expressed without cursing or pissing off the guys who think otherwise (and sadly it has been happening quite a lot of times)
i disagree with 99% of what sid, augie and teecee write, but those three are examples of guys who only show their points of views without cursing or slating people who think otherwise. so does BDB, vince and most of times, swale.
we don't want a forum for realists only, right? but we also want fair discussions with respect, quality and hopefully some big and beautiful arses in little thongs.
