WENGER HAS JUST SAID ON SKY SPORTS NEWS THAT CESC HAS A PROBLEM WITH HIS HAMSTRING. DOES THIS MEAN A SPELL ON THE SIDE-LINES JUST AS WE APPROACH A PERIOD WHICH COULD DEFINE OUR SEASON?
It depends how long he is out for; it might be a blessing in disguise if he comes back for the Chelsea match because he will recharge his batteries.
Our next five fixtures:
1 December – Aston Villa: It going to be tough with or without Fabregas
5 December – Newcastle United: They’ve been in bad form so far and without Fabregas, we can beat them
9 December – Middlesbrough: They’ve been terrible and we should be beating teams like that without Fabregas
12 December – Steaua Bucharest: Fabregas wouldn’t play against them if he was fit
16 December – Chelsea: I hope he is back by this match because you need all your best players against teams like Chelsea
The main worry is having Hleb being out as well for about 3 weeks. Van Persie is back so that is a positive and I hope Rosicky starts playing well because without Hleb and Fabregas, we don’t have any proper attacking midfielders.

now theres something i thought id never read
just shows how much the hlebster has come on,, and a lesson to some that ,,
one season no one wants you but with a little effort and drive you can become an important member of the team,,
take note, senderos,eboue

par for the course really aint it..
Didn't look too bad out there, but hamstrings are dodgy..At least he came off as early as possible so the damage will hopefully be minimal...
Also was it just the TV pictures or when he came off did he just clap the Seville lot? Anyone who was there can probably clear this up but I didnt see anything from Cesc to the travelling goons..Rosicky did it earlier in the season @ Prague. Not happy..
How the fcuk could anybody be more concerned with the loss of hleb than cesc Seriously magic you need to go into a quiet corner and have a chat with yourself

You shouldn"t be suprised Magic thinks Senderos and Eboue are good players
Fabregas is our best player! To loose him in december can very well be the difference between gold and silver. We need Hleb as well, but he has not the same impact on the team as Fabregas. Hope he is back soon
Hleb for me has been our best player going forward, he isn't scoring like Cesc certainly but he is involved in so much of our good play, he is always a danger on the ball that I value him a tad more then Cesc.
to be honest for most of the teams we play i wouldn't be too worried about not having one of them as long as we had the other (this obviously doesn't apply in games against other members of the big 4), but being without both is NOT a good state of affairs the only other player in the team that could be as big a loss as either of those two is Kolo, the Villa game looks like being interesting, and not in a good way, does anyone know the current status of the Flanimal as he could be very important for us in the next few games (if available). on the brighter side the Hlebster will be back by the chavski match and RVP will be back soon.
here's hoping we get back on track against the veeeeler, we should do if we play a non mickey mouse defence (I love Wenger, but what the fuck was he thinking last night?)
Fab would be a major loss but if he's out for a couple of weeks I really hope Diaby is on his way back and will fill in for him. You never know what you're gonna get from Diaby but like Cesc he's a great box to box player and also, if he's at his best he'll have more of an impact than Denilson, Diarra or Gilberto.
If Hleb's unavailble for a longer period of time it would be intresting to see Wenger try somebody totally diffrent in that role, Denilson maybe?
I'd prefer Rosicky to play Cesc's role if he was out for a few games..Its the position he's played his whole club career and internationally, until he gets to play his preferred position, we'll never see the best of him.
