gus'' and i hate to agree as we will be accused of been anti arsenal but you hit the nail on the head,, half the squad are just not good enough
yes we are still top but for fcuks sake we hav been saying it here since the summer that the squad was to small quality wise
now how can people still say the likes of almunia and eboue are top drawer players is beyond me,,
wake up people,,

Let's keep our head up, next week we're gonna beat chelsea and get back on track. Just imagine, Hleb, Fabregas and Flamini back in the starting line-up, i miss them so much. We have nothing to be ashamed of, we played poorly today and to be honest, we played poorly in 1.5 games before this one. This is our bad period and as sooner we'll get out of it, the better. We will be top at the end of december, i am sure.

With prfomances like that against an inept Boro side?
I am sorry but I hope the vast majority of players are fucking ashamed! That was as absolute disgrace!

I agree, and all the noises coming out of the club seem to be saying we will be without Cesc and Hleb for the Chavs. Only possible consolation is that they are playing crap as well.gus ceasar is a legend wrote:Nothing to be ashamed of Daniel?DanielD wrote:Let's keep our head up, next week we're gonna beat chelsea and get back on track. Thought Boro played out of their skins, which combining with us playing probably the worst game of our season makes the result pretty fair. Theo looked lively when he came on, but the less said about the rest the better. I hope Arsene realises hes fighting a losing battle with Eboue and the faster we get rid of him the better, but I wouldnt hold my breath on that.
I have kinda started becoming a bit skeptical about Eduardo and how effective he will be in the EPL. You need to be more than a deadly finisher to be a top centre forward in this league, physical strength and/or speed is paramount, without them you will be a flop, just look at Shevchenko. I hope he proves me wrong, but at this point I dont see him being a major success.
It was also really apparent over the two games this week that Gilberto's time at this club would and should be coming to an end pretty soon.
Apart from unable to create not more than one single decent chance all game what disappointed me the most was that there was a lack of passion. I guess this is why Flamini has been such a big factor this year.
Rosicky have also disappointed me. He hasnt turned out to be a player I hoped when he joined us. He couldnt be trusted to become a force without Cesc and Alex in the team.
So we have the Russians next week, hopefully we will have our entire squad back and they will be without Essien and probably even Drogba. Think without those two players we should be beating them. Lets hope this loss acts as a wake up call for the players, and also for Arsene.

The much predicted bad patch is upon us. We have the injuries and the lack luste performances that many have said will befall our great team, and they are right. However the big boys will be back next week, I am sure they could have been back today but instead given another weeks rest. Bring on Chavski, we need a big home match to get our season back on track.......Keep the faith.

The thing that fucks me off is that Eboue and Almunia will both start next week regardless of today!
We can only hope that by some chance any of Hleb, Cesc and Flam are fit and having RVP on the bench will be a bonus!
No doubt as well cone the transfer window we won't invest as we will be blinded by "massive potential" and "resilience" quotes!
The best eleven is more than capable of winning the league! It is a lack of quality throughout the squad that wil cost us and whose fault is that?
