Congratulations to Cesc and Co.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Congratulations to Cesc and Co.

When Cesc Fabregas fired past Andreas Isaakson on Tuesday night he put Arsenal back on course for a valuable three points against Manchester City and also brought up a milestone - the 50th Arsenal goal at Emirates Stadium.

The Spanish midfielder's strike was followed by Julio Baptista's late goal, taking Arsenal's tally to 51 from 25 matches at their new home. All but 12 of those goals have come in the Premiership with eight in the Champions League, three in the Carling Cup and a solitary FA Cup goal completing the picture.

Gilberto was the first Arsenal player to score in a competitive game at Emirates Stadium when he fired home a late equaliser against Aston Villa on the opening day of the Premiership season.

However Thierry Henry was the first Arsenal player to find the net at the venue when he struck during Dennis Bergkamp's testimonial match last July. The Frenchman and Robin van Persie are the joint leading scorers at Emirates Stadium with seven goals apiece in competitive matches.

Overall Arsenal matches at Emirates Stadium Competition P W D L F A
Premiership 17 11 5 1 39 14
UEFA Champions League 5 3 2 0 8 3
FA Cup 2 0 2 0 1 1
Carling Cup 1 1 0 0 3 1
Total 25 15 9 1 51 19
