THE PROJOE TOTALLY POINTLESS TRANSFER RUMOUR THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

As much as I think this is a joke, the scary reality is it's probably true

i'm starting to believe that there will be no new goalkeepers. if that is true, i'll be very disappointed. goalkeepers, just like fullbacks, are amongst the cheapest players on the market (with a few exceptions, of course), so i can see no excuse for not bringing in a new one.

just like arseblog pointed out today, almunia is a good shot stopper, as good as almost any keeper in the league. however, we need a commanding keeper, like lehmann and seaman, that can organize the defense and give confidence to the defenders. i don't care what we'll do about our 4 goalkeepers, stick them in his ass if he wants, but we need a new one, experienced and good enough.

i am indeed a member of the 'arsene knows' brigade, but i'll be furious if we start the season with flappy in goal. it's unnaceptable and ridiculous.

i just cant get my head round the lack of new gk....wtf is wenger doing, its indefensible, you cant blame the board or lack of money..its purely AW's fault if a proper gk doesnt come in, and im not talking about a moldovan 2nd choice.
