Blackpool Allocation

Post by frankbutcher »

I'm sure this was asked when Blackpool first got promoted, but seeing the atmosphere for today's game, I must be there for our fixture in April. Anyone know for certain what the allocation is likely to be?

Pretty sure we get 5% sale or return, plus an additional 5%, which we must pay for, regardless of whether we sell them or not. We will clearly sell out our allocation, so no danger there. 10% of their stadium is c. 1,622 at present. I have heard that there will be an increase later in 2010 /11, although can't find details.

Anyone know how many people are on the away scheme?

I've got more away points than I know what to do with, but need to know how many tickets are likely to go on sale to 25+ credits. Could be a fraught 9.30am at work one day in March!

Any help appreciated.

F'*****

1200 on away scheme and like you im on the 25+ mark.
Think we should be ok, would have thought the club might even start it of at 35+ if its a small allocation.

Anyway we have a long wait to find out

Ive tried to have a look on the teams websites who are next playing blackpool at there ground to see if it gives any info but cant find anything, seem to have to be a member to log in and find out.

Will be tight tho, i thought there was 1600-1800 on the away scheme

They expanded the east stand to 5,000. Fulham had exactly half of that stand on Saturday.

And I don't think they even took all of it up!

Will just need to hope then. I agree that the Clb should start using 35+ selling periods. A lot of people are now doing aways and 25+no longer reflects the most frequent away traveller.

Fulham took 1700 on Saturday and didn't even fill up the allocation (which was around the 2200 mark I think) but "bigger" teams will be given a higher allocation so we should expect to get 3000 tickets...
