White trainers tribute for Alan Ball (27/4)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

usual thread starter... would be a nice touch if the players maybe just wore white boots for the warm up. appreciate boots have to be worn in though, so it's not practical for the game. but the fans can do their bit. nice idea this one.

I've heard daft ideas - you're meant to show respect. what are we supposed to do? Wave our legs in the air, just before kick off. A minute's silence will do or a round of applause is right for a Arsenal hero

Yeah it does sound like a funny idea.

The players wearing white boots would have been a good one, surely the various boot sponsorship deals wouldn't have been effected by this one-off gesture?
