As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Below I have copied an extract taken from the Spurs Official website tickets page.
I know this is really minor but it still p*ssed me off!! What’s this ‘extremely unlikely’ all about?! Sorry, am I mistaken and they actually won the first leg by like 3 goals or something?! You’d be mistaken for thinking it was 21 games and 8 long years since we turned them over!! In the words of Kevin Keegan, I’d love it if we beat them, LOVE IT!!

Tottenham vs. Chelsea

But this fixture change may occur as a result of their possible progress in the UEFA cup. I can't see how that involves us as we don't play in lower level games these days
No, they play Chelsea the weekend of the Carling Cup Final so its definatly that. If It was Europe they'd simply shift it Sunday, the way they always do. Cheeky, presumtous p*icks!
Someone should tell our team as it might fire them up like the time the spuds announced cup final details at half time over the tannoy only for us to beat them
ALTHOUGH THEY ARE FAVOURITES, IT'S VERY REMINISCENT OF THE TANNOY ANNOUNCEMENT AT WHITE HART LANE DURING HALF-TIME WHEN WE WERE PLAYING THEM IN THE LEAGUE CUP SEMI SECOND LEG IN 1987, AND THEY WERE 1-0 UP ON THE NIGHT, 2-0 ON AGGREGATE. MADE THE TURNING AROUND OF THE GAME EASIER AS GEORGE GRAHAM USED IT TO MOTIVATE THE PLAYERS EVEN MORE.
CAN ANYONE GET A COPY OF THIS TO OUR SQUAD BEFORE TUESDAY?
I Hate Hleb wrote:GOOD MAN SMOOTHY. HOPEFULLY WE'LL GIVE THE SPUDS ANOTHER UNEXPECTED SURPRISE!!
Also I work at Carphone warehouse and there are many players names and addresses on the system but I cant do anything with it as DPA reason and a possible sacking lol

don't wanna be a bore about this but their site says a UEFA competition.
As far as I am aware the Carling Cup is not a UEFA competition.
