Arshavin?

It would not give me any regrets if AA never played for Arsenal again. He is one lazy prick who could do with a kick up the arse :banghead:

That might provide the inspiration that he needs to resume his sparkling form, because the key difference between when he first arrived and now is that earlier he was playing to impress the team and the fans... now he feels too assured in his role.
He had the whole summer! Unlike most of our squad. Theo and Nasri had a break all summer, they've improved vastly since last season. No excuse.
It's not a physical fitness thing, it's a mental barrier. Arshavin is the #2 most sold shirt for Arsenal, it just goes to show you the expectation that's placed on his shoulders. He's definitely too lazy on the pitch, but I think he's just over thinking his dribbling and shooting and not playing his game. He's an extremely useful player on his day but right now he's in a real slump, and when a player isn't producing offensively then his lack of defense is that much more damaging.

Lazy little *word censored* who plays with no passion or interest. No wonder we have been potless with people like him in the team, and he had the gall to whinge about us not being ambitious enough.

Still one of best players in Arsenal, but obviously chosen as this seasons scapegoat by Arsenal fans. The only two proper efforts on goal against Chavsky were Arshavins shots, yet he gets criticised game after game.

Some players are not supposed to track back that much you know. Lay off him

The left sided wide man is when our leftback is getting doubled up on and slaughtered week after week.

Ronaldo never tracked back for Utd and yet they still had a solid defence. Mybe one of the defensive midfielders should be told to not push forward so much and to cover that side when the opposition counter attacks.

When Arshavin scores 40 goals in a season, he can stay upfield as much as he likes.

I am not using him as the seasons scapegoat, but watching him at the Grove this seasons is hugely annoying. I watched him a few times off the ball this season and he just does not look like he wants to play. Whats worse a player that may not be the best player in the world but at least tries to improve and doesn't give up or a player that just strolls along, doesn't track back, aimlessly ficks the ball around, loses the ball way to easy and doesn't even try to win it back? I know which I'd prefer.

Keep. Frustrating player yes, not the hardest worker I ever seen yes but a man who can suddenly win us a match and we do need at that times. Thought he has done fairly well this season

he seems to have lost the desire, when he went at a defender last term he went with intent ,this time it just seems half hearted,he wants to offload more .he has had more opps to score than anyone but at best he just seems limp.time for offski

He seemed to be playing in slow-motion today. No pace, and seemed exhausted after an hour. He made a great assist for the opening goal, but did nothing positive other than that. Drop him until he gets into shape - both mentally and physically.

I am happy to take 30 goals
I like him a lot esp after my Anfield trip, this guy was brilliant. But after that, it's just lots of disappointment...
Sorry, if you are not interested to play, even if you are Messi, off you go :banghead:

I can recall three things

1) Covering Clichy and making a good tackle

2) Cutting in from left, holding ball up under heavy pressure then finding team mate in good position but Nasri and... Chahmak I think couldn't get a shot away

3) Crossfield ball to Nasri in buildup to second goal

Not counting the snapshot easily saved by Hart as didn't think much of that

yet he created the first and most important goal - that is why wenger picks him, yet another assist he can unlock teams even when his form is shit
