As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i have no problems with producing a few top players from time to time, but i can't see what's the problem with producing a few squad players (like bendtner) as well.

JET will be a good player for Palace in 3 years time
just like wilshere, clichy and cesc, flash?
EDIT: oh, szczesny, song and djourou too
Yep just like them
Firstly Cesc was a product of Barca's youth system lets not kid ourselves and i think Wilshere, Szezny, Djourou still have a hell of a lot to prove and i personally dont rate Song and think we should buy better and Clichy is hardly pulling up trees in the last 2 years
I think you're wrong on that one Flash, I have some mates who are utd fans and are quite knowledgable on their footie and not your typical asshole utd fan. And they reckon Song is a top drawer player, and I have to say I think he is heading that way myself.
I know he plays the odd wayward pass, but so did PV4, in fact he used to do it quite regularly.

Knocking Arsenal players
its a joke before you go off on one
Well I think it's more justified to say someone else in the ranks who's up and coming deserves a crack over the tried and tested and thus far unflattering, rather than unreasonable comparisons to the long since dead or retired.
Tall, strong, good technical skills but I just get the feeling JET will not quite make it with us.
Just a hunch really, hope he proves me wrong, because he could be a fair bit better than Bendtner or Vela, but I get the feeling that in his own mind he may have "made it" already, and not work hard enough for us.

suppose JET's a legend?
Like in many cases at Arsenal, maybe he's neither a *word censored* or a legend but somewhere in the vast gap that lies in between?

i agree with what you just said, but i still think that szczesny, djourou, song, clichy and wilshere are a bit too good for palace, don't you think?
What about Bendtner and Nordveit etc etc etc the list goes on over the years
Bendtner is too good for Palace, they are a Championship relegation side ffs.
