Birmingham/Orient/Barcelona....which one ?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'll only be at Barca Arsenal, but I'll also be in the away end for Arsenal v Sunderland if that counts

not yet marra, i still need to find a tout and pay about 400 euro to get in the barca end! But still, ive got time off work, me mate (gooner) wants to go and well, i finally got promoted to commercial manager so i might as well spend most of the pay rise on watching a random european match
I know there will be plenty tickets around though, so im going the day after being in the away end for the sunderland game and we'll just enjoy the place (and im going to a whorehouse a few times) until the gooners arrive. Did roma away with me mate and as usual i lovwed the crack with the arsenal away lads, SAFC and AFC have got on well for years and i look forward to enjoying it again! Can't wait tbh, will be worth every penny just for the memories- really, really fucking hope im sat in the bara end jumping around like a bellend after a last minute arsenal winner though, that would be so sweet!

safc, have a good time mate, would love to be going to barca away for the experience of going to a europe match.
Barca would be my choice out of the 3. Made the decision a month ago to put some money away and spend on going to an away group stage match next season, can't wait for that :barscarf:

it'll be well worth it mate, whichever game you go to. As ive mentioned previously, my mates a gooner so i go to the occasional game with him, last time we went to roma away and what a trip it was- the arsenal away lot have always been a good bunch and have always got on well with sunderland (as any who go to sunderland regularly can confirm), so i had a brilliant time joining in with the songs, travelling around trying to find a pint (city wide ban) and loved the game itself, the home atmosphere might not be great, but the away lot are top class. This ones gonig to be similar, we've got flights and that booked and to be fair will pay whatever it takes to get into the ground so we'll definitely be there, and it'll be amazing, i just hope the arsenal can grab a goal and make a real game of it. I also do all the England away games and most of the sunderland ones, and all are brilliant- when you go away and its your team (so for the SAFC and england ones for me) the result is huge, but tbh the experience is always worth more than the result- we were at stoke and i have a video of me mate running around with a smoke bomb, fuck the defeat, that'll live longer in the memory! Any euro away game you go to with arsenal youll be with good lads, have a lot to drink and a fucking laugh- you'll hope to win as well, but if you come home with a defeat it wont really harm the memories, bit like an away in the league, cant recommend it highly enough!

Hope to see you there mate, i quite intend meeting a few off the online gooner site before the sunderland game, and if i know where you'll be for the barca game, me and me mate might well come along for a few pre match pints
