They can play either side unlike NB, RVP can beat his man, cross the ball and play neat passes.OnlyGotOneSong wrote:Agreed. Although I'd play RVP on the right and Andrey on the left. I think RVP has played there a few times for Holland aswell. Probably see Bentdner on the wing though. Arsene knows!Deise Gooner wrote:Id prefer thisLDB wrote:********shesney

Bendtner playing anywhere other than as a CF is a disaster.

The thing is we all have a good idea of the team that we think should start. But what happens if we have to chase the game because god forbid they take the lead around the 75th min and we look to the bench for options its going to be FUCKING SCARY because our so called best squad we have ever had is in fact not the best squad we have ever had not my words but our esteemed leaders words.

Heres my rationale for playing bender:
-He's useful for defending and attacking set pieces (I'm really worried about that zigic monstrosity)
-He seems to be less of a liability at wide-right when RvP is on the pitch and besides, RvP and bender can interchange positions quite easily so he wouldnt be touch-line hugging anyway. While i can see the logic behind playing RvP as primarily wide right for me your best player has to be in his best position end of.
-For all his faults Bendtner has a good record at rising for the big occasion.
-Rosicky is shit

Anyone else thinking bring back Diaby and push Wilshere forward into Cesc's role? Would be a lot of pressure in his first final but everything we've ever seen from Wilshere suggests he would be able to handle it and it would allow us to keep our best available front 3 - why weaken two areas when only one has to be? But I think it will be Rosicky in and probably Nasri through the middle with him on the right.

I thought about that but then I reasoned that Song and Wilshere have built a pretty good understanding in the centre this season so its probably best not to fuck with it in a cup final. Also, not sure we can afford to have a post-injury diaby performance.djhdjh wrote:Anyone else thinking bring back Diaby and push Wilshere forward into Cesc's role?
