No. They don't have that passion. Roger Johnson (what a name  ) spent the last 15 minutes limping around in pain yesterday. It would have taken a bulldozer to get him off that pitch. That is real hunger.

Most of our players don't have enough of that type or level of real hunger.
Was just about to post this, that is the desire Wenger tries to pretend we have.
Exactly.

How many times have we seen our players get a bit of a knock and signal our bench they want to come off? At least a good few times over the last couple of seasons alone.

I remember Seamo having to get pain killing injections straight into the ribs to keep playing back in 95.

Our current lot need to man up.

That type of hunger and passion is instilled by the manager, something Wenger doesn't have or can't do. All we get from him is fucking excuses, and that's what we get on the pitch.
Time for this bastard to fuck off.
You said in one of your posts yesterday that you still love the man for what he has achieved, well I have to differ. I hate the fucking sight of his moaning fucking bake.
I have had enough of his lies, broken promises, arrogance and excuses.
Fuck him and fuck his pathetic excuse for a squad, fuck them all.
Let's have a new manager with new ideas, a pair of balls and players with fight and hunger.
And I don't at present care who this manager would be, I would take fat fucking Sam bastard face Allardyce in order to see the back of Wenger.

That's so true Sid, ok Cesc played with a 'broken' leg last season against Barca, but he hardly limped off in pain against Stoke, these players are mollycoddled to death, and it's to the detrement of the desire that goes hand in hand with a 'winning' team.

Are you lot joking?....I hope so!

Would you prefer RVP to continue, when he was clearly struggling and would potentially be be ineffective for the rest of the match rather than a fresh striker to come on?

Would you prefer RVP to continue playing and risk causing further damage causing him to miss Barca, FA cup replay and crucial league matches?

I know what I would prefer!

Roger Johnson on the other hand, was never going to go off. One reason being he is the spine of their defence and they had no replacement!! The other reason being yesterday was his (and Birmingham's) only chance of silverware this season. All they have to look forward to other than the final is a relegation scrap.

We just weren't at the races today. Our whole approach wound me up a bit, little things like turning up to a cup final in track suits!!

Worried what affect this result will have on the rest of the season

Spine and backbone are great words, that are sadly lacking at our club at present, and it's all determined by a manager who exudes an opposite culture. Ok, I don't want RVP to be out all season, but I would also like him and others to show some bollocks, but I'll be waiting a long time, whilst Wenger instills and promotes this sort of mentality within.

Yeah granted, struggling to put a finger on who the 'spine' of our team is!

Anyone else notice how Wilshere faded in 2nd half yesterday....just hope he isn't playing too many games!

Where as we had nicky b to come on and replace rvp right ? Sweet jesus our subs bench was no better than theirs and this again is down to the manager persevering with too many sub standard *word censored* and paying them mega money for their troubles   Spend some money you tight fisted stubborn *word censored* and give us a quality squad fitting of a club of our stature

As has been said already by some of our comrades the lack of bottle and fight in our team comes directly from wenger. The man defends them when they (frequently) fcuk up, he buys some players physically unable for the fight and he buys and breeds wimps who havent got the balls to argue with him much less stand up to the big bullies playing for the opposition

Talking of spines and backbones.... I think that Arsenal nowadays are a bit like Peter Griffin during his boneless body episode. :?

But then I would be able to hate Wenger's replacement as well, without even giving him a chance.

When you have a Frenchman as your manager it's hard to expect some grit in your team. We've long been screaming for a bit of spine but the clueless *word censored* in charge never listens.
