Robin van Persie has been added to the Arsenal squad for their Champions League clash with Barcelona.

The Dutch forward was substituted during the Carling Cup Final on February 27 after suffering a knee injury. But he trained with his team-mates at London Colney on Monday and has travelled to Spain.

Arsène Wenger has named a 19-man squad. This will be cut to 18 ahead of Tuesday's game at the Nou Camp.

Yea might be mind games only :(

If he was fit for this match , rvp should have started or at least appear on the bench against sunderland . Having said that , rvp must have the most chance of appearing tmr according to arsenal.com and according to wenger compared to theo or song . We can only hope .

Cesc and RvP will be touch and go, seeing how they respond to physio and updates every few hours.

No idea how many minutes they have in them, but if RvP has any chance to play I would prefer he starts.

So same can apply to RvP.

No idea how many minutes they have in them though.
To be honest i dont care much about CL i just want them back for West brom and the rest of the prem games. Lets hope they have some minutes in teh tank for Barca but more important come back injury free!!!!!!

If so we could.... just maybe...

Just 30 mins from RVP could be enough to give us a vital away goal..........let's hope he is ok for a spell!
