Benni McCarthy has been released from his contract by West Ham. This makes him a free agent and allows him to sign for another club outside the window. Do you think he would be a usefull addition to Arsenal for the last seven games ? Had a poor time at West Ham, but would he be a better option than Bendtnar or Chamakh ?

Yeah, a guy who was so overweight and unfit that he couldn't even get into a team at the bottom of the table would be an excellent addition to our squad.

Perhaps he could play in goal as he is now such a chubster?

Overweight ,useless not good enough in his prime etc...so how would that make him different from some of our squad...?

No harm in him coming to train at the Arsenal though ,every other waif and stray gets taken in !

No one can sign him as he has played for a club this season.

That rule only applies to free agents with no club all season long or if they get special permission (i.e Sol Campbell)

He is shit anyway
