As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Keep Shez, he's a good GK. Young but so is Joe Hart and for a first season as a Keepr at Arsenal he's done very well.
Fabianski had a good run this year, seemed confident with a run of games. I'ld be inclined to keep him as No.2, but if anexperienced Keeper came up I'ld be inclined to sign him as a No.2. Maybe not someone world class, but someone who'll come in and do a decent enough job.
We should have had a new GK at the start of this season at least!
It's no wonder that Scez was shooting from the hip baring in mind he had a clown and....another clown in front of him. So of course he should have been number one.
The problem we now have is that we have a young, and potentially world class, keeper that shouldn't have been near the 1st team so soon.
If we don't continue to play him we'll lose him which is a criminal and will be a coup for whoever would get him.
Although I'm confident with him between the sticks, this is Wengers fault and we should have never got to this situation. Now we have to continue (and trust) ourselves with a 20 year in our goal.

Joe Hart's 24 which I know its only a few years difference it's a big difference in a Goalkeepers life.
Similar to Reina, he joined Liverpool at 23.
20 year old is a few years too young.
If we had say Given a few years back (when we had the chance) or someone similar I'm sure Scez would have stayed quiet. Then when he reached 22+ he could pushed for a place for example.
Wojech still needs a year or two of experience for me im not too keen in giving the no.1 job to a 21 year old even though there are players that have flourished beacause they have been given the opportunity.

Hart was playing regular Premiership football at 21. Casillas became Franco FC keeper at 19. Some players are just a little bit special and you let them fly earlier than you let merely good ones. I think Chesney's one of them.

Headless chicken for the pen and general dithering i thought, he is a young bloke with a big future but we need a top class keeper for the next 2 or 3 years
