I take back every bad word I've said about Arsenal's defence over the course of this season.

Compared to Schalke they are top top drawer. Every single one of them.

He is paid too much like all the over 30s at Arsenal were except for Silvestre Gallas and Campbell and Lehmann on their reunion tours, and since we paid about 5 million total in transfer fees then that was okay.

But any relationship between all that and Board members pocketing multi-million dollar payments from Stan Kroenke is purely coincidental...

As for the match Schalke just showed United way too much respect really. They were good but not the all-conquering force you'd have thought listening to the comms.

Souness was especially full of shite. I was really wishing as he kept going on about how Ueropean clubs can't cope with English Clubs ever why it is that of the last three English winners two were on penalties and one took a near-miracle five minutes to rescue it?

Better still why the English National Team which is the more English in how it plays than any English Club side hasn't won anything since 1966?

Joke.

Man Utd first team EVER to make the CL final without conceding a goal away from home.

Fair play, that's remarkable.

I found it very very noticeable that in the past match interviews tonight neither ferguscum nor his players made any mention of neuer despite all those world class saves he made. Wouldnt be big stretch to suggest it may be a tactical ploy by the mancs by trying to negotiate a transfer and personally I would not be the slightest bit surprised if neuer to the mancs was already a done deal

SAF said Neuer's performance was the best he's ever seen from an opposing keeper in his time as manager.
