To be expected I suppose and personally I would start him in every game from here to the end of the season cos he needs games now and a few games before seasons end might give him a bit of confidence heading into the break rather than still having question marks in his head.

Rvp is virtually anonymous too

On the plus side djouru, kos and sagna are doing well and clichy is containing the diving cheating portugese c**t.

Jack outstanding for me 8)
I'd say Ramsey's been pretty decent, so has our whole midfield. We've defended well too. To be honest why didn't we fucking play like this the last few weeks?

And as for the penalty, what a joke of a decision  :banghead:

Ramsey looking great. Him and Jack will forge a great relationship when we play 4-4-2 after wenger fucks off 8)
And theo has been dangerous down the right too

But still predictable play , same tippy tappy shit :banghead:

Glad to hear the linesman getting slagged to fuck by Souness and Redknapp- fucking attrocious decision, where the fuck do they get these useless, incompetent "assistants" from, fucking useless bastards the fucking lot of them (I've still not recovered from a linesman advising a ref that a foul we committed outside the box against liverpool was "definitely a penalty"). Useless *word censored*, the fucking lot of them. Refs are shite, but linesman are a fucking breed apart

Maybe I am wrong but I feel ramsey has been very sloppy in possession which I am putting down to a lack of match sharpness

I think Ramsey has been a bit hit and miss. He's played some lovely passes but some poor ones too. He clearly lacks match practice and looks a bit off the pace, but it looks as though the technical ability and driving runs are still there in glimpses so promising IMO but dont think we'll see him last the 90 minutes.

I agree totally and I have clashed with match officials in almost every game I have ever played

What I will say though is that I would not support the use of video technology for decisions like that - goal line technology I agree with but if it was brough in for every decision a game would last for hours and I wouldnt have a hope in hell of catching my flight home

To be fair though, games against the top, top clubs are usually won and lost by a single created chance, and that cross for RvP was superb, and if Vidic hadn't cheated, RvP would have had a free header from 3 yards out!

Of course, if the ref and linesman HAD seen it, we'd have the consolation of a penalty and a possible (but doubtful) red card for Vidic...

Of course, Arsenal being Arsenal, and ManUre being ManUre, we didn't get the goalscoring chance, nor the penalty and - as per usual - Vidic gets away scot free.

By the way, I'm sick to death of the way Song just blocks people off and gives away free-kicks all the time - Denilson does the same, and it's ridiculous. They need to learn how to read the game better and stop being caught out (hell, perhaps learning how to tackle would help as well!), because when you play for a club that concedes more goals from set pieces than any other in the league, you cannot afford to give silly fouls away like that

I see your point , ramsey has had to take the fabregas role and has been burdened with a lot of possession , but he's still quite calm on the ball, and he's won a couple of balls too.

Anybody else feel there is only one way this going to go. We'll have 60+% of the possession and they'll score a couple from break aways or set pieces.

And what was all that nonsense you had at Liverpool the other year when the ref pretended he gave a free kick and let Torres run off and score. They are paid to do one thing and yet refs and linesmen manage to fuck their jobs up so much.

There's Song impeding people again.

He squares people up and you need to be side on so if they go for a one two, he's already half turned. It's basic defending.

Wish song would just fcuk off with himself - two more cheap stupid free kicks outside our area and we have been lucky not to be punished yet

Yep, this is the problem, decisions like this are affecting every club. Sunderland have been at the hands of dreadful decisions like the ones mentioned, Arsenal the same, and we all (occasionally!) get the odd one going our way. The thing is there is just no consistency, I am utterly convinced that with many close off side decisions, and many "is it over the line" decisions, the linesmen literally guess.

When it comes to video technology for goal line decisions, i dont even think it would delay games. Take the spurs game yesterday, by the time Sky had shown the replay which proved the ball wasnt in, the linesman and ref were still discussing whether to give a goal. I do agree with those that say it shouldnt be introduced in the PL if it isnt in the other professional leagues like, but that is a separate debate.

Having said that, even with goal line technology, we will still get these incompetent bastards missing hand balls etc unless they bring in video technology for everything. I thought when refs went professional we were told itd (somehow) make them better at their jobs. It hasnt. They might be a bit fitter, but they are still getting many, many big decisions wrong, they're just no doubt being paid a lot more money to get it wrong now, great.

Oh well, still all to play for in this one like, been a decent game.
Edit: cracking goal!!!
