As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
It appears to me that the vast majority on this forum, me included, have all buy given up hope for a win tonight and who can blame them when you read the list of absentees I am all in support of resting a few players tonight ahead of the milan game but the players that need the rest look like the ones who will end up playing along with a mostly 2nd string team. I would love to know how many would actually be fit if tonight was a title decider Is Wenger is having a laugh when he says that he doesnt want to rush van persie back Take your time robin, have another month or 2 off and put your feet up and we'll get you a nice cuppa - for fcuks sake it looks like I'll be fit to play for Arsenal's 1st team before rvp will and I am a few stone overweight and am 38 years young
Has to be said that although we could do without another game I would take the draw tonight if it was offered right now - I have a bad feeling that if we go down badly tonight, with the memory of the beating at scumland fresh in our minds, then a repeat of last years collapse might be on the cards

more in hope then confidence
if we had a fit first 11 then i guess we would be confident of getting a good result but with the 11 wenger will prob play,, then no.. and the red nose *word censored* will have his team fired up after losing to city last week
Like everyone else, I don't have any real confidence of a win Reb, especially after reading that flamini is a doubt too, I can't see him being risked before the AC Milan game. Oh well, a few drinkies and a sing song in the Pins it is and let's hope for the best
there's always hope.. and with 9000 gooners hopefully in good voice then we will hopefully do ourselves proud,,
but wenger will definitely view the milan game as bigger so don't expect to see any player that has a knock to be risked,,
domestic cups are never that high on wengers rader unless we are out of europe,,
saying that man u arent as good as they like to think they are either
If you are ferguscum (heaven forbid) then how much satisfaction could you take from your 1st team giving a beating to a largely 2nd string Arsenal team Fair enough the spuds gave it large after the beer cup but after countless attempts/failures to beat us then you could half understand why it meant so much to them but surely the same couldnt be applied on this occasion ? Fair enough if they beat us with a largely 2nd string line up too then you have to hold your hands up and admit that their 2nd string was/is stronger but if they lost with a largely 1st team playing then ferguscum stands to lose a lot more than 1 fa cup match I suppose really that they stand to lose a lot more than us this evening so the pressure is off us which could be a good thing
PS ANR says that on this very day 5 years ago we went to old trafford and beat these cnuts in the cup - an omen perhaps
If we win I'll put the mask on and and run the full length of my street starkers singing "Arsene Wenger's magic hat" then ask the wife for a nice cup of tea and hot cross bun.
Come on mates! Yes, we have many players out, but we will have a strong team on the field. If Gallas, Fab and Hleb were out, it would not look good. I don`t say we are going to win, but I think we have a fair chance. An early goal, and we might going to win this
As I said on a previous thread I am going round to some Surrey mancs to watch the game so my attitude is, well and truly, if you can't beat our team today when we might not even have a full bench then you never will. Then any thing better will be great.
There are omens though. The last time we watched a game there was the 2005 Cup Final and we went out with them 5 yers ago today when we beat them at OT. in the fifth round of the cup. Remeber that day as it was the anti war march in London as well.
