Another premier league footballer takes an injunction out

Same old misogynistic response on here. She's not the married one; she's a young girl from a humble background who was wooed by an attractive lifestyle. As far as I understand it, she never intended to say anything until she was hit with a gagging order, exposing her part in an affair while he, the rich married man, gets to continue as if nothing has happened, protecting his image and career while her reputation as a homewrecker is exposed.

If you were in her position and you were suddenly exposed as a third party in an affair but weren't allowed to defend yourself for fear of finding yourself inprisioned, and not have a tenth of the legal power that the man has, wouldnt you be pissed off? Had he not taken out the injunction which named her but not him, they'd probably still be continuing the affair in private until it was inevitably exposed. At the end of the day, until footballers start picking up nice quiet birds in libraries, the people they date will always be these minor celeb types with no more ambition or eduction than to bag a footballer.

Don't you think your being a bit naive there BT...''A young girl from a humble background who was wooed by an attractive lifestyle'' .... Lets be honest she is a wannabe on the make who will go to any lengths to get where or what she wants...her appearance on Big Brother should have made that obvious to you..

As for this baloney about her being some sort of innocent party in the exposure of this story...do me a favour... how do you think the story came out in the first place, it certainly didn't come from the guy...Guarantee she leaked this story to the press because things weren't going how she wanted them and she thought she could cash in and up her profile , probably egged on by an unscrupulous manager, just because she is playing the innocent little girl that doesn't make it so...

Also tarring her for what she is is nothing to do with being mysoginistic, the same would apply if it were a guy doing the same. This type of thing has become so prevalent in this country now that they need to do something to stop parasites like her thinking it's OK to make a living or get themselves in the limelight this way. If blocking these stories is the only way to do that then i'm all for it, whether it be a man or a woman who is behaving like a whore...

No doubt the type of women who hang around the same bars as footballers probably lack the education than to do much more than use their looks for modelling/ minor celeb careers but the reaction on here is more about her being a money making skank than the issue at hand which is privalaged people using their wealth to hide the truth.

The injunction was taken out, the press are on automatic alert when it is done, her name wasn't protected and his was. She didnt leak it. Just as every other of these superinjunctions involves a rich man using his wealth to protect himself while leaving his not so rich shag who doesnt have the money to protect her name to deal with the fall out. I just don't think it follows that because he has the money to protect his name, she is therefore a money/headline grabbing skank.

Aside from politicians and civil servants, I support super injunctions.
I don't want to be hyped up by the Newspapers, obviously they don't make money from this

The rich deserve to use their money to protect themselves, because it wouldn't have been an issue if they were poor.

I know its truly mad what im saying but these celebrities have as much right to privacy as everyone else.
An example, if the boss of a successful local firms cheats on his wife, the local newspaper has no right to publish the details. It wouldn't be fair on the wife, kids and the rest of their family.

Last time it was checked it wasn't a crime to cheat on your wife, but it will definitely damage his earning potential if the news were made public. Anyway supposedly they where swingers

Point is if he is doing his job very well then thats what matters.

These girls are simply in it for the money, why should they be given an audience.

PS Imogen is going into the 'I'm a celebrity....' £££
