compentsation

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If 9,000 supporters can give up their Saturday and make a 3 hour each way trip to Manchester and back, spend near 40 quid for a ticket and money on travel...the very least they can do is give 100 percent commitment to the cause.

I don't think I've been so disgusted about an Arsenal performance before...I love the FA Cup and have always been proud of Arsenals history in it but to lose in it the way we lost yesterday was hard to take.

HOWEVER I USED THE NEW 'CONTACT THE CLUB' MECHANISM ON ARSENAL.COM TODAY IN WHICH I REQUESTED THAT SOMEONE MAKE SURE WENGER AND THE TEAM READ THE TWO ARTICLES WRITTEN ON THE ONLINE GOONER TODAY. THEN MAYBE THEY WOULD KNOW JUST HOW THE REAL FANS WERE FEELING ABOUT YESTERDAY'S RESULT!!
JUST TO UPDATE YOU GUYS. I RECEIVED THIS TODAY FROM THE CLUB:

Thank you for your email. Your message has been passed to Mr Wenger's office and the Managing Director's office for the Board of Directors.

i know what your sayin i have been to all arsenal bad games this season and spent a bloodly fortune, spurs 5-1 brough away seville away then utd

i don't mind losing but it's just when some of the players just don't want to play, like the other day they should think of the fans a bit more.

But we're still gona win the league so how can i complain.

Just an apology would have done but havs Wenger ever apologised to the fans for lack of effort from his players? As much as I love our manager I hate the fact that it seems accatable to not ALWAYS give 100% at Arsenal nowadays.

It's always the argument of that we don't know what he tells his players behind closed doors of course but the performance on Saturday 2 weeks after The Spurs game tells me all I need to know about that.

I spend 5hrs getting to Manchester from Southampton and about the same to get home. I paid for 2 tickets (my son and me) spent about £60 on fuel etc etc. I don't want my money back. Ask youself if we beat Manure 4.0 and the club say next season we will charge you extra cos we do so good there how will you feel. Trust me no one was more gutted about the game than me. + what about all the part time fans who walked out at 2 . 0 do they get the same money back as me who stayed till the end?
