Arsene is busy in the transfer market....

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm as frustrated with Wenger as anyone but the people who get wound up by 'articles' like these (who, I would wager, are the same people who get wound up by TalkShite) really need to take a step back and relax.

Even if our team were to get relegated, our manager is still entitled to a holiday. Get over it.

I do agree with this but I can understand people qustioning the timing of his holiday when he is entering the biggest tansfer period of his career.

With the internal transfer window being opened on July the 1st it would surely have been a better idea to holiday before this considing our supposed targets are mostly from other Premier League clubs?

Well he's not at the training ground.........
Why would any manager leave it until July to take a holiday? Everyone else goes in June. Then again, it would just be another negligent act in a long line of negligent acts from the Arsenal Economist.

Yes but, and perhaps I'm being a bit naive here, who is to say these pictures are recent? It wouldn't exactly be the first time that The Sun fed us something deliberately misleading, would it?

Clichy is saying in the papers today that shaking Wenger's hand goodbye this week was the hardest thing he'd done so don't think these are recent.

Suck my d' Clichy. You spout off in the media about going to City cuz you want to win trophies - implying that Arsenal isn't good enough - and then get all emotional and sympathetic when you have to say goodbye to a man you've blatantly implied isn't going to win titles?

I don't know, just seems a little weak to me.
