Sure, many of them won't make it, or will be sold, but they have tried to get promising youngsters.
Now seriously, how many promising youngsters have made it with us?
All this talk of our academy, but really, where are the players?
In fact, since Wenger has been at the Club, how many players have made it from the academy to be established, first team stars?
I'm interested to know.
NOT sticking up for chelsea btw, or having a go at you, but I think this 'promising youngsters from the academy' idea has been well and truly blown out of the water.
The only time it has worked is the ManU *word censored* a few years back now with Beckham and whatever the rest were called.
Or am I forgetting something? It is very likely, to be fair. And I will apologise for the tone of this post if I am proven to be a touch senile.
