So AC Milan have had a bid accepted for CESC and apparently the wages have been agreed.
Kind of forces Barca's hand now if they dont pay will he really go to AC Milan ? If he does it says a lot about his confidence in the Our Club .
I want him Nasri and the Shavin gone and then buy some good replacements preferably over 5'9".

Then again it could all be press bollocks !

Rather than start another vanity thread (only mods are allowed do that :wink: ) am just wondering what the fans feel will happen in the last 30+ days of this transfer window -

1. Do any of you still believe we will sign any 1 or 2 of samba/cahill/jageilka/mertesacker ?

2. Do ye believe that from this day we will spend more on transfers than we receive ?

3. Do (m)any of you believe that cesc and/or nasri will still be here on sept 1st

4. Does anybody believe that wenger will sign a new keeper ?

I know there is a lot of frustration and resignation at our lack of purchases but am wondering how deep those feelings run ? The cahill and/or samba deals were supposed to be certs a few weeks ago and now there is barely a whisper and surely after dragging out so long the chances of either are slim ?

Would be really surprised to see anybody else coming in augie.

Its like reading the same book over and over again. Its starts with the squad being giving more experience. When your half way in to the book the team have gained mental strength and belief, and when you finish the book the team have become so close that no one can beat them regardless.

Its a pile of fucking shite

I do believe we will make another signing or two but I reckon it is more likely to be along the lines of a squillachi (an over the top useless *word censored*) or an ox chamberlain (unproven and overpriced kid) rather than a top quality player playing at or close to his peak years :( :x

1 - We will sign a centre back. Not sure about those names. Only 1 will come in
2 - Depends on Fabregas but I say no.
3 - I actually think both will be.
4 - No chance.

IMO we can't compete and sign players that clubs with more money want. We won't go near Cahill whilst Chelsea are interested. I don't think Samba is worth more than about 10/11M. Jags looks like a good bet but will depend on the deal we can get - might shift a player to Everton as part of the deal.
