Well said.worthing_gooner wrote:What part of it is an overreaction though? We pay top dollar for a third rate product. We pay through the nose. I paid £57 fucking quid for a Liverpool home ticket and I'll go to watch a team in which absolutely no investment has been placed even when it is completely lacking.tinpot lane wrote:Did I say that? I for one think it is a scary thought that the matches will only get more competitive after today.
Wenger and Gazidis both categorically stated we would have a busy summer of ins and outs. So far we've signed one first team player and a youth from Charlton. We don't know who our captain will be and we have a question mark over one of our best midfielders who clearly doesn't want to be here.
We have given away four leads in pre season fixtures so far and have won just four games including two pre season friendlies in our last 21 since the Carling Cup final.
We're one injury away from having absolutely no goalthreat whatsoever and we have no number one goalkeeper.
We have a support which is split down the middle and more and more people think Wenger, a man who still has years to run on his contract, needs to go.
In the meantime our owner has said absolutely nothing and spends his time in the states.
I dont think anyone is overreacting.
Udinese v. Sporting Lisbon before our friendly v Benfica.

What an complete and utter shambles
Johan Djoke - possibly the worst decision maker I've seen at CB
Vermaelen - I've said this before he's not a very good defender
Traore - Clichey-extralite
Lansbury - little boy lost, way out of his depth, Championship player at best
Chamach - the only striker in world football who gets a nosebleed in the penalty area
I could go on with the performances of others ie Squillaci, Song
but too angry with that c**t Wenger at the moment

Ofcourse, it's just funny how people pick their moments.Number 5 wrote:Bud, it hasn't just been that. I know you know that.tinpot lane wrote:And you discovered all that during the second half?
It's the last 10 league games of last year. The Carling Cup final. And on and on and on.
It's been going on a long time and it is not improving.

There's a connection between all these legends, if I was'nt such a tight c**t I'd offer a prize for anyone who guesses it
the squad has decayed into this, years of negligence. Like a neglected house its a sad sight.
Years ago this would have been our fringe players, but this is our squad, which injuries will ensure get plenty of action.
I should ask wenger who campaigns for young players, is this an environment to learn and develop, to lose matches, destroy confidence, and learn how to lose together.
Either wenger, ignoring the warning signs, is clinically insane or arsenal football club is in deep financial trouble.
