Can someone please remind me why did Arsenal leave Highbury in 2006 - our spiritual home for nearly 100 years?? Unless I'm massively mistaken, we were told it was so that we could compete with Europe's elite teams.
So why did we witness today, possibly the most inexperienced Arsenal side I have ever seen in a match against a top opponent??
A young keeper. Good but young and inexperienced
A right back that was playing non-league football less than 1 years ago.
A teenage central defender with less than 10 first class matches
A raw young central midfielder, lacking the nous to compete with Liverpool's experience
A bench full of inexperienced or over-rated / overpaid players.
Is this the dream that we were sold? Is this why we pay the highest ticket prices in World football? Is this good enough?
And don't forget - it's not just today. We have been woeful since throwing away a 4 goal lead on 5 February this year. Our form since Newcastle has been that of a relegation club. What's worse is that all of our problems are self-inflicted. Everyone could see this coming but still we plod forward and just hope for the best.
On a wage budget of over £100million a year, how do we keep managing to put out such weak willed teams?? Is there anyone at Arsenal that can put things right?? I firmly believe that Arsene Wenger is no longer part of the solution - he is the architect of all our current problems.
If anyone feels different please feel free to explain why.
Can someone please remind me?

This day (season) has been coming for years.
Sad thing is the only person who coulda, shoulda done something about it has been blatantly neglegent, indulging himself in a "masterplan" of buying foreign youth and keeping faith in/overpaying average players while our opponents have progressed.
Yes its very sad but much worse, much, much worse is that it is so so predictable and could so easily have been avoided with a little investment in a couple of experienced players like a GK, CB or DM every year or so.
What we all gotta do is accept that this season is definitely over. Dont beat ourselves up about it. Rather be pragmatic.
Hope that Wenger resigns and Mourinho (or fukin anybody) replaces himsooner rather than later.
Lets just hope that we dont fall too far and that the transition when it inevitablly comes is as quick and painless as possible
