Manure Away match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If we do then the wenger garden has earned it. It wont happen though, quite tempted to put a bit on us being drubbed.
So if we lose to Udinese but somehow manage a win against united all is well within the garden?

The way the season has started i wouldn't be at all surprised to see TV5 pick up a knock tomorrow night leaving us to face the Manc scum with 2 from Kos/Shitlacci/Djourou. Think the 6-1 battering at OT,when we had Stepanovs playing, could be seriously in danger of being surpassed. :(

You never know with football. Wolves were a goal away from going down last season yet beat united, the chavs and the victims..... Us beating united doesnt mean a thing if we get fuck all from the fixtures before or after it.... Therefore will the garden be rosy if we win?

We could take our worst ever prem beating in this game, Wenger will make his excuses, injuries, suspensions etc, but I won't worry because he will be 1 bad result from the exit door :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf

Fuck it. ill be at the game, ill be doing my usual pre match routine of getting on the Stella express, giving loads of verbals to the mancs, and only half remembering the game.

I might up my stella intake infact , and or possible bring my friend Daniels, jack to totally wipe the event from the memory banks. Worked for the 2-3 **** game last season.

What pubs are people drinking in up there?

So Song, Frimpong, Gervinho suspended, Nasri off to city, Kos injured, Wlshere's aggrivated his injury & Rosicky isn't training yet (although Traore & Djourou are). If there are no signings between now & then I can see something like this:

Szczesny
Sagna, Djourou, Vermaelen, Traore
Ramsey, Lansbury
Arshavin
Walcott, RVP, Oxlade-Chamberlain

Doesn't exactly fill you with confidence?

Didn't know the Wilshere injury had worsened. Shit.
I'll be flying up already pished after an all-nighter or two
(Stag do starts Fri AM)

Hopefully we will scrape past Udinese, get the Na$ri cash in and spen big Thurs/Fri because Fadi is right - on the current form of Rambo, Arsh and Theo that midfield could get swept away

The ManUre goal v Spuds actually came against the run of play and TinyTotts had a couple of debutants starting
before his header Wellbeck played like a lanky Paul Dickov, after it looked like MarcoEffingvanBasten
with a decent side I think Cleverley, Wellbeck, Anderson, Evans and Young can all be exposed
with the team above playing like they have so far we could get our pants pulled down

I'll likely be in The Piccadilly (bout 500 metres from the station opposite tesco)

Although if there's a few from here meeting up somewhere else, I'm all for it :drunk:

We will lose but i wouldn't be surprised if we went 1 0 up first, play well and let 2 stupid/contreversial goals in.
