Just so you guys know: there is a reason Wenger and Arsenal continue to keep fees as 'undisclosed'.
Lille chairman has confirmed that they had agreed a 4 million Euro deal for Chu Young whatshisface.
He says that Arsenal then nipped in with an offer THREE TIMES what Lille were offering. I thought he was talking shit but now Park's agent has said the fee was 'above the 10 million Euro mark'. It is on Canal + Sport as we speak.

At first I thought it was bullshit. I mean after all, in an area you desperately need quality additions in...what kind of a fucktarded manager would ever go out and waste £10 million on a player who is plying his trade in France's second division?

Then I remembered that Wenger is the same manager who went out and paid Lorient £10 mil for Koscielny. A rubbish player who had been playing the previous season in France's second division!!!!

12 million for a player that we'll lose and get no money for in 2 years time? Unless we can extract compensation from the korean government?

l'Equipe and TF1 in France are both now claiming that the Chu Young fee was 12 million Euros, therefore confirming the claims of Michel Seydoux (Lille chariman).
10 million fucking quid for some rubbish Ligue 2 player who will bugger off to the army in a bit. And yet, Gary Cahill wasn't worth more than a £6 mil bid. It's like an inverse form of racism: he doesn't mind paying much more extra for shite players because they're from the French league. If they're English league though, then they're worthless and not worth the time!
Chamakh and Koscielny, great signings there mate....

If true that is a disgrace. But we've come to expect things like this from Wenger.

Franksav let me tell you this for free: Arsene Wenger has been busy doing other things than (mis)managing Arsenal. For starters, he has been working on a venture to buy his old club in Alsace as a majority shareholder. Quite what the fuck he is doing instead of concentrating on Arsenal is beyond me.

The biggest one though is that he has preferential shares in PSG in France. As you will know, PSG were bought out by the Qataris this year and they are now flush. It's known that AW still retains many of these PSG shares so he is looking to his monies. He already offers the PSG board consultative advice (again why the fuck is this prick doing this when he is supposed to be concentrating on Arsenal??), which is a position he got through his good mate Francois Graille (formerly of PSG).

So yep, he is definitely working very hard on his French projects. He loves money, and especially money for himself. It's all he cares about, which explains why he moans about wages in football, and then negotiates a deal to receive far more than Pep Guardiola and Alex Ferguson!!!!
