What I am saying is when David left the board. AW took over his job. So tell me; when has AW signed a world-class defender. AW lived off the back of George Graham. Someone having a go at Wenger for not signing any decent defenders?

Wenger may be guilty of various faults, including failing to get the defence to organise properly, and signing some poor defenders, but failure to sign good defenders is not one of his faults.

Sylvinho, Sol Campbell, Kolo Toure, Lauren, Bacary Sagna, Thomas Vermaelen, Per Mertesacker beg to differ.
