so we say to frimpong, sorry mate, it's not your fault, but your master is Song and he is shite, so we are going to let you go and join southend
a few weeks ago some bloke on here called him the new essien, now he should be told to fuck off your not good enough

So, tell me mate, any particular reason that they call you MadRich?MadRich wrote:Bollocks saying Frimpong is your average DM.
I would mention Frimpong in the same breathe as Wilshere, in an ideal world, he would've been learning from Viera or Gilberto.
He is built like a tank, has got good positioning and make a good pass. also he is getting more disciplined by the game.
As for song, he is shite!! end off.
Rather Frimpong in than Song.
Its Sept ffs, no point in moaning about who we should or shouldn't buy.
In a nutshell, that's the two extremes of a football forum. It's nothing new.Rosie_titters wrote: a few weeks ago some bloke on here called him the new essien, now he should be told to fuck off your not good enough
For me, Frimpong has shown promise but nothing more. He shouldn't be anywhere near the first team yet, and perhaps should even be on loan at a team like Swansea or Norwich.
Sadly though, this is Arsenal where youngsters are given far too much exposure before they're ready and, as a consequence, make costly mistakes in important games for the first team.

Re: Frimpong and Alex Song Billong
Frimpong seems the better options but can I throw Fabrice Muamba's name in the hat. He does what is required did wenger really choose song over muamba?benglenton wrote:same quality as defensive midfielders
average
in my opinion: not AFC level players in that field zone
what your thinking about this?
I have no idea, i mean no one believes i can see into the futureNumber 5 wrote:So, tell me mate, any particular reason that they call you MadRich?MadRich wrote:Bollocks saying Frimpong is your average DM.

My thoughts:
Song - physically powerful, average level Premiership all-round midfielder, who seems to let himself down by failing to track back as well as he might after forward runs.
I would certainly keep him the squad as he can play in a central midfield role, and has covered in central defence to a reasonable standard before.
In an ideal world would prefer a better player to start.
Frimpong - young, powerful, aggressive defensive midfielder.
A dynamic energy player in the Flamini mold, with a touch of the box-to-box midfielder about him, rather than a "Sitting" defensive midfield such as Gilberto.
Just recovered from a cruciate knee injury, and lots to learn.
But can tackle, has fight, and shows willingness to run.
Deserves a mixture of starts and sub appearances as he gains in experience.
Coquelin - similar to Frimpong, but looks a little bit more defensive minded, less of a box-to-box player.
Better tackler than Frimpong, but of slight build for the position he plays in.
Deserves time to get used to the Premiership, and to bulk up a bit.
Looks better than Eastmond, and certainly deserves regular appearances off the bench as he gets used to the Premiership.

Anyone with a brain can see Alex Thong is fucking shit. Reasons: positionally abysmal, no awareness of runners in behind, too slow on the turn, gets done easy each time, too attacking, puts the team under pressure with fouls in stupid stupid areas, totally brainless, AWFUL short passer - which is a majorly important skill for any top DCM. Yet this *word censored* struts around like he's Desaiily MK2.
Frimpong: Who is he? A kid. That's all. He's barely kicked a PL ball.
Although I hear that he has just released his own clothing range. So not another big-headed Arsenal cock who has achieved nothing in the game but is billy big-bollocks.
Remember Fabrice Muamba who Arsene Wenger released about 5 years or so ago because he wasn't good enough? The irony is that Muamba shits on both Song and Frimpong! Isn't that funny! I'd say such is the farcical state of affairs at Arsenal that someone like Nigel Reo-Coker is better than Song. I mean ffs Championship West Ham had a better DCM in Scott Parker than Arsenal until a week ago! I look at Mulumbu at West Brom and even the Huddersfield DCM who came to the Emirates last season and they are all superior to Song.
Yet Song is on £60k a week.
'GIVE HIM TIME'. (repeat ad infinitum from 2006 onwards)
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

We'll, they are both about 5'2" so I wouldn't put it past Wenger!
