Anyone else think Jenko, Rosicky and Arshavin have had decent games.

Yeah agreed. Was worried about Jenks but he's done well.[/list]

Why do so many leave the ground early when the game is hanging in the balance?

what a horrible match that was. our defence was atrocious , jenkinson is obviously not a full back but a RM, and the sunderland equaliser was a joke, cattermole dived to win that free kick, though don't expect any mention on sky.As for RVP, he is absolute genius, class throughout the game . Rosicky played well for the first time in about 3 years.

Relieved but the ref could easily have given a pen to sunderland at the end, though they deserved FA after that cattermole dive. What a battle that was.

As someone just tweeted "#rvp enjoy him while you can". Glad I didn't go. Embarrassing to be hanging on by our finger tips to Sunderland and to be totally relieved when the whistle goes.

Maybe we have found our level, just scraping into the top half of the league.

We should bury teams like Sunderland but make it far more difficult than it should be,

Whilst I am worried about defence, I think we need another creative player, who can play passes from deep.
If our short passes and runs fail, then we lack another way to get through an opposition's defence.

This win does not mask anything at all. That Sunderland team played shit and still almost came away with a point.
The GIC is lucky that RVP is in good form otherwise we would really be up shit creek without a paddle. Yet another woeful display from Walnut but I bet the AKBs will herald this as the beginning of a revival or a run of good form.
There is no way on earth we will get into the top 4 after all we are playing one of the WORST teams in the league (especially away from home they are dire).
I think its there for all to see that we are in a lot of trouble, this result changes nothing.

I thought that was a fairly solid performance to be honest, lets be honest even if we had gone 3-0 up, we couldn't have relaxed.

Shez - Solid performance. Couldn't do a thing for yet another wonder goal past him (is it me or do we get more than our fair share?)

Jenkinson - Did well, couple of good crosses. Best comment I can say is I hardly heard his name mentioned defensively in the 2nd half which meant Sunderland obviously didn't think he was a weak link

Mertesacker - Starting to get up to speed with the Premier League

Koscielny - Solid game again for me. But has to improve distribution from defence

Gibbs - I think Segusson (sp?) seemed to give him a tough time. Another injury is worrying.

Santos - I think he's starting to look good. Solid defensively and some nice touches going forward.

Rosicky - Actually quite impressed today. I thought his runs were quick and caused Sunderland problems everytime he went forward. Just wish he could find those shooting boots from his Dortmund days though

Arteta - Disappointing today for me. Just felt he look subdued as if he isn't the big fish anymore.

Walcott - He needs to improve or the Ox is going to have him benchwarming very soon

Song - Why does anyone let him try and play the role of playmaker??? He's the sort of guy who makes you want to tackle your own player. Defensively solid though.

Van Persie - This club is fucked if we lose him. Close to being the best striker in Europe at the moment. Needs to boss the free kick taking decision though.

Gervinho - I thought he looked ok in the first half with some neat runs, but seems to not have any communication with those around him.

Arshavin - I know people don't like him, but I thought he was great today. Challenging, quick feet, unafraid to take a shot.

Finally attendance is listed as 60,078 on the BBC website - when did the Emirates raise it's capacity to 80,000?

no way attendance was 60k. I doubt they sold that number. The Beeb must be using the Gadzidis' calculator.
