i was thinking about this today actually. Would be pretty priceless if we finished the league 8th (my prediction) , but went on to win the CL , auto qualifying for next season at the expence of the **** who finish 4th.

Will never happen mind, but would be the ultimate.

proper defending tonight
lets face it Gibbs always gets injured
Clich was error prone

the brazilian will come good for us. you dont get to be first choice for Brazil and be crap for long.

As soon as you can explain to everyone how Santos 'is first choice for Brazil'...and then follow that up with a further explanation of how Marcelo and Michel Bastos are continually selected for the big matches (qualifiers not the Copa America), and explain why Santos wasn't anywhere near the WC squad...

I'm kinda half-way on this thread. Tonight's win was commendable (mainly because it won me £50), but there's no way we're winning the tournament.

As soon as we draw Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Man Utd or Chelsea, we're toast. There's a handful of other teams that would turn us over too.
