Citeh in Europe

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

so that's why Nasri joined Citeh - to play in the Europa League

on a serious point last night showed how well we have done in Europe this season. Our group is MUCH tougher than Uniteds and they are really struggling.

The thing Man city have found out is that in the PL you can give 4 or 5 chances in a match and still win games in the CL you can not give more than 1 or 2. Look at the highlights of the Man City v Newcastle game from the weekend Newcastle had 4 or 5 good chances to score but failed with all but 1 of them in the CL you just can not do that. It's the same with Man U their defence will give you chances

It's like you're not even trying anymore :( At least before when you tried to wind people up, what you said was half-debatable. Your little experiment is surely running out of steam, perhaps you need to take up a new hobby.

Anyway, I think people severely underestimated Napoli in this group and I'm glad to see them turning heads. They are a strong squad who have built up very well in a short amount of time, WITHOUT having to spend the stupid, stupid amounts of money $ity has.

I'm sure $ity will now turn around and buy Cavani for a 50 million just to say "it won't happen again" Fire sale on Dzeko before you know it...

City should buy anyone that beats them.

Credit Napoli for representing the CL well, the standard of football in it is very good.

Citeh remind me of when I first discovered the cheats on Football Manager. I bought all of my rivals' players, ended up with 3 or 4 world class players for each position and had no fucking idea what to do with them.

I hate the arrogant zillionaires who buy up clubs they've never heard of so they can show people how rich and powerful they are and I rejoice with every year that goes by without Abramovich winning the CL and I look forward to him getting bored pouring a couple of hundred million down the pan each year. Likewise with Citeh. When the Arab Spring (Summer, Autumn, Winter ....) arrives in the owners' backyard we'll see how happy they are spending 250,000 a week for Bridge etc to play in the reserves.

I'm sure, dedicated supporters that they are, that they'll be preparing their flights to some godforsaken former Soviet republic.

I did that with a very low division side, I had all the best players in the world and all the young players that would be great. I never got that far into the game though.
