Thierry Henry Appreciation Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Shit man, if he does it against Man Utd in a couple of weeks coming off the bench to score the winnner, I'll be basking like a mother fucker on crack.

Last night was Leeds, a lowly team in a once great but now shit FA Cup competition. It means nothing to me really. I'm more bothered that we couldn't get the job done before he came on, it is becoming more and more common place for our games to go that exact way.

I've had my Henry moments, when we and he were great. When they truely meant something.

I don't know, maybe you had to be there. Fair play to those of you loving it but my apathy knows no bounds at the moment regarding all things Arsenal.
I must admit I have similar feelings although as you say, having been there last night it was difficult not to get caught up in it all.

Personally I'm just fucking relieved that TH14 (sorry that's who he is, none of this TH12 nonsense) was there because that was heading for 0-0 and "credit to Leeds....they defended very well".

So as we all know now, its 4-5-1 even if its a Championship side at home, and we stick with it for at least 65 minutes or so, and then throw on a second forward. Its so predictable that I think I'll fucking pass out if it doesn't happen from now on.

People asking what does this mean for Chamakh.....well what does it mean for Super Quality Park ?? He didn't even get to warm up and it must come to something when we are left playing the Camel up front on his own as a preferred option. Brought it home last night when the matchday programme had a run down of all the previous number 9s - Alan Smith, Malcolm Macdonald, John Radford, the two leading Croatian scorers of all time........and the current incumbent is.....Super Quality Man, sent from afar to play reserve football at Colney. What a fucking joke
