ANCELOTTI: I was ways waiting for Arsenal job
Former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he was planning to wait for "a job like Tottenham or Arsenal" before joining PSG.
Ancelotti, who left Stamford Bridge at the end of last season, was appointed PSG coach last month following the sacking of Antoine Kombouare.
The Italian admits he was prepared to wait until the summer before returning to management and was hoping to land either the Arsenal or Tottenham jobs should Arsene Wenger or Harry Redknapp have left their respective clubs.
"Before PSG's call I thought of a year-long sabbatical, hoping that in the summer a job like Tottenham or Arsenal - a top London bench - would become available, but I was tired of not working," Ancelotti told Gazzetta dello Sport.
Ancelotti also revealed the events that occurred when he was sacked by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich at the end of last season.
The 52-year-old admitted the exchange with Abramovich was short and that the Russian was 'very cold' towards him when axeing him.
"When Abramovich fired me, he was very cold. He said to me good luck and stopped," added Ancelotti.
"He knew that I wasn't in agreement with that decision and he preferred to avoid talking about it in detail."
Ancelotti also admits he has sympathy for current Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas who has also found his position under scrutiny after an indifferent start to life at Stamford Bridge.
"Is he [Abramovich] sorry for calling Villas Boas? I don't judge the work of a colleague, I'm just saying that coaching this Chelsea, in the midst of a big generational change, is complicated," concluded Ancelotti.

What about Wenger?
surely, once we're in the UEFA Cup and lose Van Persie, there's no manager better than Arsene to work on a shoestring budget and bring the glory days back?

Anyway, sadly I fear Ancelotti would have to wait much, much longer than 12 months for the Arsenal job to become available.... MUCH longer

He'd be lost without an owner telling him what to do. It's no conincidence he's gone from AC Milan, to Cska West London to PSG.....and that he wants to be in London where there are plenty of clubs for people like him.
Right now I would kill to have an owner that would tell wenger what to do and where to go
