Adidas Kits

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i'd sell my soul to own one of those.

a shame that my soul is certainly worth less than £245.00 :( :(
How much?

Bought mine for 30 quid delivered on eBay a couple of years ago, there's one on there for 60 quid now.

Loved the shirt as a kid, that the yellow bruised banana shirt were always my favourites :barscarf:

Colorado Rapids shirts are made by Adidas. A promising sign, perhaps?

Lets be honest here.......adidas has dropped the mousers in response to the backlash over the suarez racism row and the racial abuse of the oldham player. Of all the political hot potatoes in the world today, racism is far and away the number 1 issue and no company wants to be associated with anybody involved in racism so imo the whole lack of success thing is just a convenient excuse

As regards the possibility of adidas returning as our kit suppliers can I just say yet again that I have been mooting this suggestion for 2 years now and I would love it if they took over from nike as our kit suppliers. I would love it even more if they re-introduced the bruised banana kit 8) :barscarf:

Unfortunately not. As far as I'm aware, Adidas is one of the official sponsors of the MLS so, as such, all of the teams are sponsored by Adidas.

Fair enough. I see the NHL, NFL and MLB all seem to have similar deals as well.

You can just tell that he is wearing red shorts to hide the HIV-infested seepage.

I can't see us dropping Nike with our wondeful US connection.

I really do not care who makes it to be honest but with the club going the way it is I can easily see it going to Bukta or Admiral!

Actually, in line with our transfer policy they may give it to Quality Seconds!

Deffo two of my favourite shirts. Only the classic 70's shirt is better IMO.

That 1991 home shirt just brings back so many good memories for me. The beer, the footy matches (almost) every weekend, wrecking London, sharking dodgy birds, no responsibilities, The Arsenal being a real club, the players being mostly like lads you knew that had just got lucky, the manager instilling class and insisting on tradition being honoured, everyone hating us, the Gooner supporters being united behind a good manager and players we respected and who gave everything on the pitch, often playing far beyond their actual ability. 8)

It was a wonderful time to be a Gooner. :barscarf:

"wrecking" is Dublinese for having a great time on the beer, not actually wrecking someplace! Also means to get pissed, as in "I got wrecked last night". :-P
