The REALISTIC who will be our next manager thread????

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

people are dreaming if they think the board will go for anyone like Guardiola, ancelotti, Hiddink etc who is only going to hang around for 2-3 years at most.

I think its much more likely they'll go for a steady eddie - maybe fabio capello, owen coyle, otmar Hitzfield. there's an outside chance i guess that they'd go for young managers Van Basten, Neil Lennon or Markus Babbel.

You can forget bergkamp, he's ruled himself out many times.

my dream coaching team would be head coach - Guardiola, attacking coach - bergkamp, midfield coach - Gullit, Defensive coach - Keown or Adams, with Paddy back to coach the reserves and kids (why are separate thesedays ?)

The more I think about it the more I am convinced we should offer everton a swap deal.........wenger for moyes 8)
Moyes is fed up having no cash to spend and would jump at a chance of signing for a big club (thats us btw  ) with a few quid to spend whilst wenger loves nothing more than working on a system that allows him to focus on bringing through young players and then selling your best players to continue the development cycle which actually see's the club spinning their wheels but going nowhere every fcuking season - it's a match made in heaven really 8) :barscarf:
