RvP's reaction to THAT substitution

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If he had to come off, Benayoun would have made more sense to put on than Arshavin.

Rosicky seems to be having a good season, I am not sure if he is better or the players he is competing with are worse.

Rosicky is a horribly average player who hasn't scored a league goal in over two years. It's just that the players around him are even worse.

Hasn't had a run in the side and been played out of position in every game. Bit harsh to make him a scapegoat. Has worked hard and for the team when called upon and was even filling in at cb and rb today when others had switched off and were ball watching.

The moment that RvP decided that he wasn't going to sign any contract extension.

Thought Rosicky had another good game to be fair? Would give him a run in the side at the mo, deserves it.
He is shite, his break away yesterday from smalling's slip, was like fucking slow motion. The guy is yet another Wenger waste of space.

Really Sid? Thought Rosicky played that perfectly and had a good game.

Anyway terrible sub, especially as he put on Arshavin.

Also thought Rosicky played really well yesterday. He was the one to set the counter for the goal and he did the Arteta job really well, holding back for Songuinho's moronic runs up the pitch.

Persie won't stay, but if he wanted to i think he could stay and make wenger go.

Couldn't fucking believe it when he didn't shoot when clean through on goal! Only an Arsenal player would pass it with just the fucking keeper to beat :banghead:

Was RVP's reaction definitely towards Wenger or could it have been towards the crowds reaction? I know Sky made it look as though it was aimed a Wenger but can those that were actually there confirm this?

I think the chorus of "You don't know what you're doing" seemed to confirm it for me

Wouldn't surprise me, but how have you heard about this? Source?

Oh fuck! (if true) I can see him going this window.
Leave for £20M+ and Wenger will say he didn't have time to make the necessary signing and/or Park and Chamakh are quality players. :banghead:
