EVERTON V SPU*S and other weekend games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Bloody lovely aint it   Mind you I am celebrating the scum result here and telling the missus that we might even steal 3rd place yet and she responded by telling me that we used to aim for 1st place

I thought 2 weeks ago that the tax dodger would turn down the engerland job to remain in scumland but I think 3 defeats on the trot will have reminded him that the scum have no place being that high up in the league table

so apparently there was a "gentleman's agreement" between everton and spurs, that redknapp wouldn't play saha in this fixture... yet end the end he sent him on and he hit the post.
wonder what (if anything at all) the press will make of that...?

Monday is a must win after today. If we beat the mags then the pressure will be well and truly on them :barscarf:

Poor ol' Rosie is going to get a right kicking from 'Arry tonight :D Can almost smell the waft of fear drifting down from the Lane right now. We put in 70% of Tuesdays nights effort against the Mags and the we'll be breathing down their pimply necks again. The week has just got better.

Apparently any gentlemans agreement which is supposed to have been made is against PL rules.League officials say it would be seen as a 3rd party influencing another clubs selection, which looking at makes a mockery of the loan system when a playercannot play against his parent club e.g greedywhore cant play against city

well exactly, hence "gentleman's agreement", and not something actually written into saha's contract.
either way 'arry's always gonna do whatever he can to win the game, probably thought at the time they'd win easily without him...
without being paranoid though, i'm pretty sure if it was wenger, then not only would moyes make a huge deal out of it, but so would the press
