As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
ok it is not Wenger's best season but there have been worse than this.
we are on a winning run of 7 league matches, in RVP we have the PL top goalscorer and one of the best players in the world, the emergence of one of the best english talents in the OX for many years, we have beaten Milan, Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool this season and are on target to score more PL goals than the Invincibles managed in 2003/4
come back in May and tell me this has been his worst season
And we have lost to blackburn, fulham and swansea and dropped points against the likes wolves and bolton

...and not forgetting that we also lost to Milan, Liverpool and Spurs, and still have Chelsea to play. Or does it not count when we lose to top teams....only when we win
Remind me how many goals the Invincibles conceded as well ? I know that doesn't count either as 8 of this season's were in the 'irrelevant' defeat at Old Trafford and the majority of the others were in 'special circumstances' !
manchester united have lost to blackburn
manchester city have lost to swansea
one of the things I find with this forum is that people are almost too caught up with following Arsenal and that they dont take on board the results/form of other clubs.
good stat for you here
if you ignore the 8 goals we conceeded in the man u match we actually have the 3rd best defensive record in the PL this season
And if we remove the 7 that we scored against Blackburn we have scored less goals at home than Fulham and the same number as Sunderland. Shall we carry on playing a game of "using selective stats to support non-arguments"

I merely state the facts
Its been added to the list. Have you been into the Basement (or whatever its called now) to see the poll I set up where you could vote for your favourite ??
We are on course for a second poll with some of these quotes from this week alone, and we're probably heading towards 'Reds Greatest Hits' by the time Summer is here
