Is SteveO 35 officially the most miserable poster?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

how do you work that out?

he thinks Diaby should be in the Arsenal first team
he thinks Chelsea are already through to the CL final
he thinks Arsenal will not win another match this season and not finish in the top 4

that is not what I call realistic and the betting odds reflect this.
Barcelona are 1/3 to qualify for the CL final, Arsenal are 1/8 to finish in the top 4 and I would think I can probably get odds of 10,000/1 on Diaby being Arsenal player of the year next season.

For once I agree with Wenger. Abou Diaby is a matchwinner as will be proven once fit and playing regularly in his favoured role

Yes, because it really works like that doesn't it. I think Wigan were 12/1 the other night whilst Man Utd were 1/66 after we beat Man City over Easter.

Go and put £50 on your silly double of Barcelona winning the CL and Arsenal finishing in the top four. If you think 1/3 and 1/8 are good prices then go for it.

Someone should have told QPR we were 2/5 to win at their place - they shouldn't have bothered showing up then

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. When your mum wakes you up for school in the morning you're going to be very disappointed that Match magazine's 5-0 prediction with a hat-trick for "well wicked" Messi hasn't come true
