Villa going down???

Villa going down???

Post by Bradywasking »

Villa going down ? Probably not but wouldn't it be nice for McLeish to have back to back relegations and it would be further enhanced by Birmingham coming up with Houghton as manager. Eduardo's revenge !!!!

Them being dragged into the Relegation battle could be good news for us - they might show a bit of fight / urgency against Spurs :box:

I said this after we beat them a few weeks back, without Darren Bent they have absolutely zero goal threat and also the loss of Petrov is massive to them.

One of the sides I can see struggling to get back up if they went down.

Oh to dream...

Technically even Stoke, Norwich, Swansea and Sunderland are not yet safe

It's shaping up to be an interesting final few games

Wolves are already down so screw them

Blackburn (31 points)
Scum (A)
Wigan (H)
Chelsea (A)

Bolton (33 points)
Sunderland (A)
Scum (H)
West Brom (H)
Stoke (A)

Wigan (34 points)
Newcastle (H)
Blackburn (A)
Wolves (H)

QPR (34 points)
Chelsea (A)
Stoke (H)
Man City (A)

Villa (36 points)
West Brom (A)
Scum (H)
Norwich (A)

I reckon Blackburn may be down before the final day of the season...and Villa have tough games if they get beat at West Brom this weekend

sorry to be a pedant (and I know no one cares) but we are safe. We've got 44 points. Wolves can't catch us obviously, Blackburn have 31 points with 3 games to play and so can only get to 40 points and, whilst Bolton on 33 could overtake us due to having 4 games left (and thus being able to get to 45 points), Wigan who are currently one point ahead of Bolton on 34 only have 3 games to play and so they could only get to 43, one behind us. Thus Wolves, Blackburn and Wigan can't catch us and so we're guaranteed 4th bottom at worst. As I say, no one cares, don't even know why I wrote this, I bore meself sometimes

Want to see two of Aston Villa (who doesn't like big clubs getting relegated?), Wigan (small club, small attendances) and Blackburn (just don't like them) go down.
