sorry to be a pedant (and I know no one cares) but we are safe. We've got 44 points. Wolves can't catch us obviously, Blackburn have 31 points with 3 games to play and so can only get to 40 points and, whilst Bolton on 33 could overtake us due to having 4 games left (and thus being able to get to 45 points), Wigan who are currently one point ahead of Bolton on 34 only have 3 games to play and so they could only get to 43, one behind us. Thus Wolves, Blackburn and Wigan can't catch us and so we're guaranteed 4th bottom at worst. As I say, no one cares, don't even know why I wrote this, I bore meself sometimes
