Germany´s preliminary EURO squad

They did sign Meireles from liverpool though! :D

I Hate Hleb , You're right about international caps aren't everything, and in some cases in some countries, players don't earn them because of merit, its because they come from powerful families, have political connections or simply are coaches favourites.

With Germany you're there on merit, and Joachim Loew, just like myself, saw Marin is not going to make a significant contribution.

You're right but that still doesn't take away from the fact that the guy might still be a success at Chelsea. I obviously hope he isn't but the fact he isn't in the Germany squad for Euro 2012 doesn't guarantee he won't be.

I'll ask my Werder Bremen mate what he makes of all this. I haven't seen that much of Marin, I just feel that he suffers from the fact that there are better options in the squad who can do the job that he does.

Germany has a very strong sqaud.....they're going to be unbearable.

:banghead:

Spain has still the better players. But Germany might just win it. Or Denmark, then I'd be rich.

Xavi & Iniesta are past their best.
Germany have better goalies, defence and stikers :D

Puyol has just been ruled out of the Euro's too which is a massive blow to the Spaniards.

Mertesacker is shite. Fortunately, he has Khedira and Schweinsteiger, two of the best in the business, to cover.

That's the key - a midfield that helps out the defence! that's what Songdorf does so well for us :|
