McDowell its over dude...no more - Hallelujah
Re: McDowell's VANITY 'Rumours' Thread
Would people just wait and see. The amount of doom and 'he's off!!!' posts are getting very old and stale. We don't know anything.

Chelsea are looking to offload Torres for £15M+

Personally I think he's wasted at the bridge with their style and needs a new club. For that price he would be better addition to our bench then Park or Chamakh.

Would they sell him to us and for that little amount of money in comparison to what they paid? If the answer is yes id bite their hands offBlock_5_Gooner wrote:Chelsea are looking to offload Torres for £15M+

I did wonder that too. Everyone has a price but I think we'd have to pay a bit more. I'd still be happy with paying £20m plus Park & Chamakh!flash gunner wrote:Would they sell him to us and for that little amount of money in comparison to what they paid? So are we going to sign Yossi?
I really want us to get him. He tries so bloody hard, and is a touch of class. Against WBA he worked his bloody socks off.

That deal will be more about getting Falcao rather than offloading Torres.Block_5_Gooner wrote:I did wonder that too. Everyone has a price but I think we'd have to pay a bit more. Not sure exactly what you mean by Baba going 'too far' with respect to this particular post?N1Goon wrote:Babatunde wrote:Isn't it so funny how Wenger, keeps chucking good money after bad at players in a desperate bid to keep them - but is not willing to do what players like RVP actually want, which is to go out and sign top players? Also £155k a week in wages or whatever? I thought we 'could not compete' with the big clubs according to Gazidis, and Arsene's apologists?
So Arsenal, are offering RVP a wage that would make him higher paid than every Barca player bar Messi, and every Real Madrid player bar Ronaldo and Kaka. Uh huh, cannot compete
You are going too far now Baba, I think you should hush your mouth. I am not happy about the lack of silverware either, but we don't know how much is Wenger's fault exactly.

Yossi is a bit M'eh for me.rigsby wrote:So are we going to sign Yossi?

I just think we need more height and strength to our midfield.
Re: McDowell's VANITY 'Rumours' Thread
I think the chavs would be quite happy to let him go on a free.Block_5_Gooner wrote:Yossi is a bit M'eh for me.rigsby wrote:So are we going to sign Yossi?

I think we should go after De Jong ; He's has been in and out of City's team for most of the season, and would be good competition for Song ; I think his contract is just going into it's last year, too?
