I don't think I've read such speculative, unprofessional bullshit before. You'd think a journo wouldn't be such a gullible moron

To be honest Henry I mostly agreed with the article

I do believe that Wenger has the club at heart and his loyalty has been commendable.
RVP's statement is self serving and Usmanov's statement is also self serving. Kroenke is in it for the money and his refusal to speak to Usmanov smacks of what's best for him and not what's best for Arsenal, so out of them all I would trust Wenger more than any of them to have Arsenal's best interest at heart.

You know that Wenger asked the French Football Federation if he could share the job, and do it as a dual role with Arsenal.

He is interested in the French national team job.

I believe that he has the club at heart, but it's his vision which is clouded and under scrutiny. Wenger is prgamatic with players when it is their time to go, so the same should apply to Wenger. And it would, if the criteria of 4th place trophy was not being "achieved" every year.

Have you a Link for that French story ?

I'm not saying he is right all the time, far from it
I'm of the belief that his intentions, however misguided they can be sometimes, has the good of Arsenal at heart, which was the core of the article.

Xavier Rivoire spoke about this on Newstalk's Off the Ball show this week. He is well connected.

Unfortunately, nobody is questioning Wenger's intentions, as they are in sync with the financial planning which is at the cnetre of the football club.

Will keep an eye out for that thanks.

Nobody at the club is, but I do believe the criticism he is receiving from the fans is hurtful and he will not want to just see out his contract on a whimper. We shall see.

what do you mean by loyalty vinny?

he earns 6mil a year to do a pretty poor job, and he gets worshipped by the flock in the process. theres no reason for him to leave, is there?

@left foot legend- explain your position and/or reasoning instead of posting unintelligent jibes. your part of the reason why we don't take akb's seriously

I tend to agree with the sentiment of the article, although I am certain Wenger did have more money to spend in seasons gone by which he failed to utilise.
The part about Van Persie and his injuries is particularly poignant. Van Persie didn't meet our ambitions of him in the first 7 years of his career, where he only played on average 16-17 games per season.

Is he actually well connected or is it just like Guillem Balague where people are taken in merely by the fact he's a bona fide foreigner and therefore lap up the bollocks he probably just repeats from foreign red tops because he has an accent?
