Rumours this morning that henry will join us on loan again this season - I wasnt in agreement with it last season but if it happens again this season then I will not go to another game for the rest of the season Am totally fed up with this cheapo make do bullshit policy that see's us making diaby, denilson, bendtner etc multi millinaires but cant see us invest in bringing quality players (esp DM) to the club

Arsène Wenger says he is not finished in the transfer market this summer.

The Arsenal manager has already strengthened his attacking options by signing Lukas Podolski from Cologne and Olivier Giroud from Montpellier. But he has been linked with further signings, including Spanish international Santi Cazorla.

Wenger would not be drawn on specific targets when he faced the media in Beijing on Wednesday but the Frenchman hopes to add to his squad before the transfer window closes.

"You see I have come here to say as little as possible!" joked Wenger, before adding, "I am ready to talk a lot, but not a lot about transfers, because it is a very fragile subject and a very secret subject.

"We bought Giroud and Podolski and I hope that we bought Diaby and Wilshere too, who didn't play at all last season. We will add Wilshere to the squad as soon as possible. But we are not at the end of it [transfers] - we will still bring players in."

Wenger was also asked about the future of Robin van Persie after landing in China for the second leg of the Arsenal 2012 Tour, presented by Emirates. His answer was unequivocal.

"There is nothing to elaborate. The options are clear - we want to keep our players. I would be happy for him to stay in the English Premier League - at Arsenal."

I think it's quite apparent he isn't going to buy what we really need. I've almost become immune to the whole situation I can't get angry over it anymore. Arsenal have made me apathetic

No it's based on my own personal assumptions using the previous 8 transfer windows as an indicator along with the fact that he publicly has stated we don't need a DM (which in my opinion we do need)

It is my personal view and I have not once stated that I know the inner workings of Wenger's mind. Obviously people will disagree on my views on what is needed to improve the squad and I welcome their opinions

If I turn out to be wrong, great! It only helps Arsenal.

Think you've read too much into it. It's simply Henry (not Arsenal) talking about winter training.

Anyway I remembered steve bruce saying last summer that he wouldnt buy any more african players cos of the disruption that was going to be caused by two anc's in back to back years and of course we bought the forehead after that
