Same here. First guy I spoke to was a real dumbass who basically said lower tier was a complete no no and sounded like he really coudn't be arsed to even talk to me.
Phoned back a few days later to ask to defer and the lady asked why. I said because I wanted lower and she went away and to my complete surprise came back and said no problem ! Again, admittedly this was a week or so ago.
Just appears a complete lottery depending on who picks up the phone!

Why don't you guys go and watch the OG boys play the Sunderland lads and then go drinking with them afterwards. They could sure do with the support, and if you can manage to stand up without assistance you might even get a game!!

Called up twice today (my number came up yesterday, 19k+) and said I had cash ready for lower tier but was told that there were no lower tier left. Deferred to next season. Not getting involved in the upper tier mess.

Not sure what my plan of action is for that day but if possible ill meet for a drink, if i knew where people drank normally pre match,normally go to bank of friendship but will be with 2 cousins so not quite sure where they drink.
There is the from reading a meet with the Sunderland guys for a kick about but not sure on timings as not read all the thread so as a heavy smoker....I could play 10mins (that's more than some of first team) but few beers prior to game....need to check timings first....
