I used to go the military tattoo in London with my dad and grandad as a kid, loved it! I see its on at earls court in december :barscarf:

Used to watch this in Australia as a kid. Loved it. Was obsessed with becoming a soldier... before teenaged drinking, sex and ganja took me on a whole different path! :-P :wink:

The Royal Tournament....used to go as a kid when it was in Earl's Court...the field gun race was a good spectacle.

I was living in Earl's Court during the early to mid 90's. I was lucky to get tickets to attend twice. The atmosphere and energy in the arena was mind blowing. The brutal strength and pace of the field gun race was breathtaking.

I also saw two opera's there. Parsifal and Aida, if my memory serves me right.

That's the one, think my grandad used to get free tickets from the forces I think. Great day out, my grandad loved it bless his soul.
